Decisions — AYN. STUDIO, Ayshens Beauty
Lead/spec build (no client contact yet). Per the website-builder skill's lead-mode rule: when
there's nobody to ask, pick the recommended default, record it here with rationale, and mark
the underlying fact[TBD]/open inTODO.mdfor when the business is actually contacted.
These are override points — surface them all in the hand-off so a human can flip any of them.
Scope (confirmed with the operator running this build, 2026-08-12)
- Full pipeline to a live Cloudflare preview (matches the existing portfolio pattern:
LR Coiffure, Cross-Rehab, etc.) — not stopping at styleguide-only.
- Languages: German (root) + English (
/en/) — default permultilingual.md(local language +
EN), confirmed with the operator over German-only or English-only alternatives.
Category
beauty-nail-salon-or-aesthetic-clinicconfirmed. Google Places typebeauty_salonmaps
cleanly; on-site evidence (a Lego Laser IPL/laser-hair-removal device visible in one interior
photo) confirms this is a full aesthetic-clinic offering, not just a nail bar — the spec's
"borrow caution/trust structure from physician.md for regulated aesthetic treatments" applies
to any laser/IPL copy.
Business focus (inferred from reviews + photos, not confirmed by operator)
- Every one of the 5 returned Google reviews mentions eyebrows specifically and names "Ayshen"
personally (not "the salon" or "the team") — this reads as a solo/near-solo specialist studio
where brows are the flagship service, with laser hair removal as a second, equipment-backed
service line. Copy treats brows/lashes as the lead service and laser as a secondary section,
rather than inventing a flat service list — actual services/prices stay [TBD] (TODO T1/T2 in
spirit; add explicit facts item once contacted).
- No pricing, certifications, or specific treatment names beyond "eyebrows" (Threading? Waxing?
Microblading? Lamination?) are confirmed anywhere in the dossier — the copy deck will use
generic, defensible phrasing ("Augenbrauen-Styling", "Laser-Haarentfernung") and mark anything
more specific [TBD]. Do not invent microblading/PMU claims — that's a regulated cosmetic
tattoo category in some jurisdictions and the dossier has zero evidence for it.
Brand name
- Google's business name is "AYN. STUDIO, Ayshens Beauty" — the storefront door signage (photo 7)
shows only "AYN. STUDIO" as the actual brand wordmark. Site uses "AYN. STUDIO" as the primary
brand name throughout, with "by Ayshen" / "Ayshens Beauty" used as a secondary descriptor
(e.g. footer, about section, meta description) so both the storefront brand and the
Google-listing name that people may search for stay connected for local SEO.
Palette & type — see brand/styleguide.md for full rationale
- Anchored on real sampled colors (reception desk paint
#78705d→refined#211D19/#85796A
family, true-black chairs, warm cream walls/countertop) — not vibes.
- Explicitly excluded the storefront's steel-blue window frames: the same blue frame wraps a
neighboring business's sign in the same photo, confirming it's the building facade's color,
not AYN. STUDIO's brand choice.
- The
accentdusty terracotta-rose (#B97164) is an interpretive blend, not an exact pixel
sample — the dried/fresh floral styling repeats across 3 separate photos (a real, deliberate
choice) but no clean isolated pixel sample of just the flowers was captured. Flagged so it can
be corrected against real fabric/print swatches once in contact with the operator.
- Fonts (Italiana headline / Sora body) chosen partly for distinctiveness against this
portfolio's existing beauty-category entries: beaute-en-heritage (Fraunces/Karla),
institut-de-beaute-si-j-etais-moi-a-lutry (Jost/Lora), rita-beaute-esthetique
(Prata/Figtree), rm-beauty-lounge (Bodoni Moda/Hanken Grotesk), beauty-by-dilek
(Playfair Display/Jost) — none use Italiana or Sora. Also avoided a charcoal+taupe palette
that would read too close to beauty-by-dilek (same category, #2b2523+#987a60) by
leaning the accent toward dusty terracotta-rose instead of gold-taupe.
Photos
- 9 of 10 Google Places photos downloaded to
content/assets/places-photos/for palette
reference and placeholder use. These are Google-hosted, rights-uncertain, expiring-URL assets
per content/cautions.md — usable as temporary placeholders in the draft, must be replaced
with the operator's own licensed photos before the site leaves draft/noindex status.
- One photo (a genuine brow close-up,
photo-8.jpg) is real client work and a strong hero/detail
asset — flagged as a placeholder-but-good-candidate in cautions.md.
Process shortcut
- Skipped the separate phase-1-only Cloudflare preview deploy (styleguide + dossier alone before
the full build). That step exists mainly to let a human operator sign off on the look before
the full build is written; since this is an autonomous lead build already approved for the
full pipeline with nobody to review mid-stream, going straight to the full build and deploying
once saves a redundant deploy cycle. /_styleguide/ and /dossier/ still ship in the final
deploy per the skill's requirement.
Distinctiveness review (before publish)
check-tokens.mjs: clean, 0 violations (all non-token px values markedtokens-okwith a
reason: icon geometry, blur amount, content-fit measures — not brand/spacing choices).
check-distinctiveness.mjsvs. last 5 client sites: two non-blocking warnings, reviewed and
accepted —
- primary
#211D19within 27 RGB units ofsilvia-jayet-reflexologie's#2a302a: both are
near-black inks: any two near-black colors read as numerically close; visually both still
read as "black text/nav", and the rest of each brand (palette, type, imagery, category)
differs completely.
- accent
#B97164within ~55-58 RGB units of two other warm-toned beauty-category accents:
defensible because this hex isn't picked from vibes — it's derived from the studio's own
repeated floral styling across 3 separate source photos (see brand/styleguide.md), and the
overall system (Italiana/Sora, near-black primary, split-panel hero) doesn't read as the
same brand as either comparison site.
- Swap test: replacing the logo/copy with a different business would break immediately — the
hero uses the studio's own waiting-room photo, the About page uses its own reception photo,
and the reviews quote real named clients. Not a generic template.
- Hero layout was flagged as matching an overused recent pattern ("left-text-photo-right",
used 3 of last 5) and was changed to a full-width hard-edge split panel (.hero-split,
photo bleeding to the true viewport edge, no card/radius) — genuinely different composition,
not just a relabeling.
Not yet decided (leave for operator contact)
- Exact services list + pricing.
- Certifications/training (visible framed diplomas in the reception photo, text illegible from
the source image — do not guess at what they certify).
- Booking mechanism (phone-only vs. an online booking tool — Treatwell badge visible on the
front desk suggests they may already use Treatwell for bookings; worth asking directly rather
than assuming a generic contact form is the only path).
- Email address — none found in the dossier; site uses phone as the only contact channel + a
contact form until an email exists (per contact-forms.md guidance for this exact gap).
